Education & Experience
I received my Bachelors of Human Kinetics and Masters of Social Work from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. During my master's I focussed on health and wellbeing examining individuals as a whole, working with many diverse backgrounds in various clinical and organizational settings. My experience has allowed me to work alongside survivors of human trafficking, sexual abuse, and gender based violence. Both my science and social work background has helped me tailor my practice to meet the needs of individuals using many different therapeutic interventions.
Therapeutic style & Speciality Areas
I consider my therapeutic style to be very eclectic and client-centered, meeting each client where they are in their journey while helping to encourage growth and foster change. My specialities include sexual abuse, trauma, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, relationshop challenges, parenting, perinatal mental health, couples, eating disorders and grief. I work with clients ages 12 and up with their life challenges.
I am trained in EMDR, with additional training in CBT, CBT-E, and ERP. I am offering both in person and online appointments.
